  1. For those of you that said you liked Peter Gabriel, how about "The Book of Love"? That's what I'm walking down the aisle to. It's the song from the movie Shall We Dance. If you haven't heard it, I'm telling ya'll, it's the perfect song! Check it out and see what you think.
  2. I don't know if any of you were still looking on where to order pocketfolds from, but I found a pretty reasonable site at Envelopments® Mix and Match Design Line - parts for custom invitations and announcements. I think that if you order more than 100, you get a 10% discount. They have all kinds of stock from matte, metallic, textured and patterned and more. I bought the 4x5 metallic pocketfolds in rubelite. They're $1.50 each before the 10% discount. I ordered metallic cardstock from PAPERWORKS - Paper Isn't Our Sideline... It's Our Only Line!. I'm paying like $30 for 100 8 1/2 x 11 coverstock metallic paper in quartz (like a white color) and I can get 4 from each sheet because I'm cutting them. Super cheap! I also ordered my envelopes from Specialty Paper, Envelopes and Invitation Supplies by Envelopemall. Theirs comes in a package of 100 and the metallic ones I bought were $17/package also in quartz. Some of the same websites sell the same products, but the paper may be cheaper at one, but their envelopes were more expensive. That's why I bought everything at 3 different places, but I'm saving more money that way. Anyways, hope this helps someone out! Good luck!
  3. Wow, your pics are amazing! We must have similar taste because our wedding is going to be quite similar and so your review is so incredibly helpful. We will get married at 4pm, have a couple of hours break until dinner at 7 at the steakhouse, then we reserved the disco as well before they let the public in. Our colors are chocolate and fuschia and I want bright pink roses as well. The only thing is that we reserved the gazebo for our wedding, but we might change that after reading your review and your setup was absolutely beautiful! Do you have pics of your dinner setup? Thanks so much for your review!
  4. Does anyone have any cute ideas on wedding favors? I'm thinking of giving out Christmas ornaments. In my mind I picture like a seashell or sand dollar ornament with Cabo, MX and the date on it. I just can't find anything I really like. So I'm just curious as to what some of you are giving out as favors. Good luck to everyone on their planning!
  5. Hey December Brides!! We are getting married in Cabo San Lucas December 6th at RIU Santa Fe. There is a bridal extravaganza this weekend so I'm hoping to find a veil and the groomsmen attire there. I've never been to one before, but hopefully it will prove useful. The big things we need to get done are find his ring and start ordering invitations. If you're not a DIY kinda girl, but still want great invitations at a great price, I recommend .:Hitched Invites-Custom & Pre-Made Wedding Invitations. Invitations. Inspired:. The girl's name is Gwen and she is great! She gets back to you quickly and she'll do exactly what you want. I did my boarding pass STD through her and they were beautiful. Look forward to chatting with ya'll some more!
  6. We are getting married at the RIU Santa Fe December 6, 2008. We are using Destination Wedding Travel. They set us up with a travel agent that was very familiar with Cabo and she helped us find a place. I would definately recommend them because not only are they travel agents that will help you and your guests book, but they are familiar with the wedding people at these hotels. I filled out the forms and my DWT travel agent took care of he booking for me. If you're having trouble getting responses, they will get a hold of them for you. You initially pay $50 to get started, but that is used towards your travel expenses. It relieves a lot of the stress on your part.
  7. I can't wait to hear about your wedding at the Riu Santa Fe! I'm getting married there December 6, 2008. About how many guests will be at your wedding?
  8. I used hitchedinvites.com Someone on this forum recommended her, I just can't find it. Her name is Gwen and she's awesome and very reasonably priced! Good luck!
  9. I'm getting married at the Riu Sante Fe as well Dec. 8. Does anyone have pics of the gazebo? Jacqui
