Best restaurants and tours

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone again,

I only have one more month until the wedding and I still have so many questions.

I am putting a schedule together for my quests and I wanted to know of some restaurants and tours that my guest and myself shouldn't miss.

I am looking for restaurants with good views and good foodhuh.gif

Also...if you know of any tours or restaurants that we should avoid...you can share too.

I am planning two different dinner places for friends to meet up with us if they want after the wedding events.

We are also trying to figure out 2 tours to do with the family if they want to with us.

Any ideas of restaurants or tours that you can't wait to do againhuh.gif

Stressed bride to be,

Amy

You must go here for views & food:

Puerto Vallarta Restaurant - Barcelona Tapas

http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t6140

Also see Vista Grill and Le Cliff for views.

Tours - Of course Las Caletas, but I also recommend the Marietas Islands, Yelapa, and Majahuitas tours. Vallarta Adventures also does these: Puerto Vallarta Eco-Tours, Expeditions, and Adventure Tours

**Don't miss strolling along the malecon under the moonlight, and a visit to the Rio Cuale flea market.

Hi Amy,

We are staying at an AI as are most of our guests, then moving to another hotel the night of our wedding. Also we have a large group so we don't want to "plan" anything since we are not planning on paying for anything extra other than our wedding day.

However, we are trying to organize a group excursion the wednesday before our wedding for any guests interested. At this point, we've spread the news and I have mentioned it on our website. But I won't be including the info on our invite since I don't want ppl to get the assuption that we are paying for it.

I'm not criticizing anyone for swimming with the dolphins. Just please read up on it first before you decide to do it. I planned on doing this during our trip & a friend sent me some links about it. I am so glad I got that info before the trip.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
