Las Caletas Brides ~ Post HERE! (THREAD CLOSED)

Recommended Posts

I think we were lucky too... Roberto and I went to the marina a couple days in advance and bought the pre-paid marina tax tickets. We put them in everyone's OOT bags, which we distributed at the welcome party on the night before the wedding. At that party, we made sure to tell everyone to take a taxi to the marina terminal (that's where we took off from... I know some go from Nuevo Vallarta) and we told them not to be late or they'd miss the boat! No one had any trouble at all, and we had people at about 8 different hotels.

When I arrived in the morning with my girls, Kelley was there and located us right away (I must have been obvious as the girl carrying the big white dress). Kelley took the catamaran back with the day tour group around 2:00 and she was there at the marina waiting for our guests when they were arriving. Roberto said they had no problems at all (except for his one poopy brother who is a big f-ing baby and came to Puerto Vallarta but didn't come to the wedding because he was mad about something with the hotel - rant.gif)

Anyway... no problems from our end!

Sorry to hijack but I had to comment. That's almost unbelievable but I've learned that people go nuts at the slightest things sometimes so this is just another example! I hope it didn't anger your hubby (or you!) too much that day.

I wonder if they always meet the people at the marina then? Kelly didn't meet us until we were walking onto the boat so we kinda had to find our way around the marina. I know they didn't meet our guests either. I wonder if it has to do with party size. We only had 20 people.

Thanks for the tip.
Omg my mom was so nervous...we got ours in advance and gave them out at our WD the night before, and she kept saying people were going to lose them or forget them. I was like look, they can pay $2 and get another one if they do...no big deal...haha Gotta love moms!

Haha - my mom was really nervous too - she was worried that when we went over in the morning, there might be a big storm or some reason the boat with the rest of the guests couldn't come over - and the wedding wouldn't happen...lol

I told her she worries too much!! The day ended up being perfect! LOL

I am cracking up at the nervous mom stories, I'll have to tell mine she wasn't alone. She was also worried that a guest would get too drunk & fall off the boat. She even suggested we not serve alcohol on the ride back for this reason...in the end she was doing tequila shots on the ride back!

For the record Nicole said nobody ever fell overboard, but once they thought they lost a drunk GM but found him curled up asleep in some cubby on the boat..haha

Ok Jamy- I'm as bad as your mom. LOL I asked Nicole if anyone has fallen off because of all the pics I saw, I was really worried that some dumbass would dance their way right off the boat. I mean really- there is only a rope there! I didn't even go close to it and it made me nervous to watch people dance at the front. I obviously needed to be drunk. :)

    • OMG these are incredible! Seriously blown away by the thoughtful detail you have put into every aspect of your gifts, your guests are going to be amazed! Props to you for adding so many personal touches and putting in so much time to make these gifts amazing!
    • These bags are amazing!! You are so organized and detailed, I am so impressed! I LOVE the Vistaprint stuff you ordered, the logo is so cute, I love your personalization!
    • I love etsy!! It's a great place to find personalized gifts without such a hefty price tag. I was thinking of getting my bridesmaids personalized necklaces with their names on them. I found these ones that are affordable and you can pick the chain length and different fonts, so you can really make them your own and pick what you know each bridesmaid will want. https://www.etsy.com/listing/595334072/personalized-name-necklace-stainless?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=personalized necklace&ref=sc_gallery-3-9&plkey=a8662525c53ec285c1b46b0f308162d0591edff8:595334072
    • Hi everyone, I am so happy that I am getting married to the love of my life. He proposed me and we are getting married within in a couple of months. And I have started preparations for my big day. I am super excited about a lot of things and also worried about many things.I have some inhibitions about my face and skin. Since I am a working woman, I have never got much time for personal care. This is the right time for it now. I need  proper medical grade skin care. Want to improve my skin tone and texture  I read some details about it here, https://www.mcleanclinic.com/nonsurgical-procedures/non-surgical/skin-care/, and found it really helpful. Can anyone of you suggest me some more tips? Like what I can do at home to have a glow on my face?  Thanks in advance.
    • I think you should approach the dentist. That would be the best idea as of now.
