My TA stepped in & was finally able to reach someone named Landy who I'm told is Sandra's assistant. I still don't know what happened to Sandra but I've been able to converse with Landy through this email address:
[email protected]

I've been getting responses usually within 1 week's time.

Oh & BTW - New to this board & getting married at Dreams Tulum November 23, 2007!!
I got Landy on the phone when I tried to call Sandra a few weeks ago. I explained all the questions we had to her and she relayed the info to Sandra. Sandra sent us an email with answers to our questions a few days later.

I called Sandra a few times and got her voicemail, and then she emailed me for me to send her my number so she could call me back. She actually did and we chatted and she answered all my questions. I don't have any misgivings that something might not get done.

But I did have to be pretty persistent.

My daughter would like to get married at either Dreams Tulum or Dreams Cancun. She does not want to walk down an aisle and doesn't want dancing. Has anyone been to or had a wedding like this at either of these resorts?

She's thinking there will be about 40 people.

Thanks so much for your help. She's worried people will be bored....

I'm not sure about the whole not walking down an aisle. What does she want to do? You don't have to have dancing, thats just an option. You can always hire entertainment like fire dancers or a mirachi (sorry, bad spelling) band. Otherwise, it's an all inclusive resort in a beautiful setting and friends and family will be together on vacation. How could you be bored?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
