New Bride- In Over My Head, Any One Have Info On Cabo Del Sol?

been searching every where, can't come up with any thing.

I was initially looking for a family friendly all inclusive resort to have our wedding to keep costs down but then started looking at some of the off the resort options and fell in love with the Cabo Del Sol venue, the sunset de Mona Lisa, and the hacienda cocina y cantina.

Initial budget was $15k, but we are willing to bump it up to $25k for the right place.

If any one has any pointers on venues and realistic pricing I would be forever indebted to you!

Also not sure if it is really necessary to hire a wedding planner but any advice on that would be helpful too!

@@lesloo Congrats on your engagement!

I'm not too familiar with off resort receptions but there are tons of ladies on this forum that I'm sure could help you out. I think that a wedding planner is probably worth considering if you're having your wedding off resort as they can help you pull all the details together. I've only heard amazing things about Joyce @@dreamweddings, she may be able to help answer some questions and steer you in the right direction. @@acw271011 also just recently came back from her wedding, where she had her reception off resort.

Is your budget including travel costs and all the extras (dress, gifts etc) or is that number just what you plan on spending for the wedding in Mexico? How many guests do you plan on having? That will definitely help determine your budget.

@@lesloo  is your heart set on Cabo?  I am more familiar with off resort location in the Riviera Maya, Mexico.  And we do have some hacienda styles that could work for you. Also $25k what does it include for you, is it just for the wedding day costs or for everything including flights?.  how many guests are you looking to have?

@@snswedding2016 is correct ,when you are doing an off resort wedding, you do want to make sure you have a local planner to guiding and supporting you.

Happy Planning

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
