I dunno..... still sounds pretty complicated to me. I think it's something I'll pass on for now lol  I don't want anything I post to go all over the world.... I did sign up for wedpics though. Not sure if that counts or not! lol

What you post on BDW can/does go all over the world too. When I was planning and googling ideas there was always BDW posts and pics in the searches :)

@@acw271011 that's fair enough! We have wedpics too! I think it'll be great! It's a very similar concept but more private for just you and your guests!

I has wed pics too. More people used FB. Hindsite for my crowd a hashtag may have worked better. The older folk used wed pics probably as lots aren't on FB a lot if at all. There is still people I haven't seen their pics 8 months later.

Oh I know this goes all over the world. Absolutely. But I'm a bit more careful about pics and so on that I post here and last names don't get put here. And my FB account is closed only to friends with some things locked for only me to see and I don't use tags. We've also asked the kids not to tag us in photos. If they want us to see them, email them to us. Doug uses Twitter. I've never been interested in it. The only reason I set up Wedpics is because there are only 4 people that are going to be there besides us so it will be easy to ask them if they take pictures to put them there so we can access them.

Technology has exploded just a little too much for my taste. We found out the sex of 2 of our grandchildren on FB and believe me, we read them the riot act. I know for all of the young people here and our kids it's all technology but it's a bit different for us. We still try to keep some of it out of our lives.

Thanks @@acw271011 & @@Wafflesmom I think the one with our names needs a little more decorative detailing on it though. The countdown board will actually turn into our guestbook board to tell people what to do. I have one more small chalkboard that I'm

Not quite sure what to write on it yet. Any ideas??

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
