Thanks @@nkavanaugh & @@calgarybride2015 I loved it so much I decided to make 3 smaller similar ones for my bridesmaids for a fraction of the cost the resort would charge. post-283167-145266143965_thumb.jpgpost-283167-145266145223_thumb.jpg

When I was in Michaels yesterday they had a clearance sale on bridal goodies! Got us some luggage tags and me a bride shirt both were $2 each! So crazy!!!

@yycbride2016  I have one word - Wow!!! I had to go back to about the beginning of October to get caught up!! That's when we were getting organized for Mexico so I was totally AWOL!! Sorry about that.

You have done an unbelievable job with everything! Your dress is absolutely STUNNING!!! The veil is beautiful and I love the shoes!! I'm glad it all goes together for you! The groomsmen/groom outfits are super smart!

All of your decor is gorgeous!! We did an AHR too, two weeks after we got back from Jamaica and the timing was perfect. I know it's a lot of work, but at least you have help to get it together and I think you'll really enjoy it! We did, mostly because there was no pressure. It was just a fun night of getting caught up with everyone. We did a slide show too of wedding photos that ran for the night since we were just two when we got married. I LOVE the taco idea. One of my favourite foods!!!! lol

Your gifts are beautiful and very generous. Love the cufflinks, especially the golf ones!

Have you checked out Lulu's online for dresses? You're so tiny you'd have an easy time having something fit and they have some really pretty stuff there that might work for you. And super inexpensive too!! (Bonus!!)

Love your cake decision. It's so pretty with the starfish added. My vote is for bouquet #2 and second choice would be #4 but they're all gorgeous!! I'm with you - I love fresh flowers.

Another bride to be that is so crafty!! Everything you've done is amazing and will be absolutely gorgeous!! The countdown is on..... Not long to go now!! Judging from the other reviews I've seen going with Lancelotti is a good choice. That's the first time I've heard of a photographer not giving the photo rights to a client so good move to stay away and make another choice. We took a really short video in Mexico and I'm glad we did. I'm hoping we finally get the highlight one this week since it's nearly 3 months. We only had him for 90 minutes and we get a 30 minute video so that worked out perfectly. He missed a lot of stuff because it meant extra vendor fees, and we would have lost a bunch of time in travel but he got our renewal ceremony and our photo session afterwards so I'm anxious to see it. I don't think you'll regret it at all and even more so if parents have stepped in and offered to pay. That will make it even more special!!

Oh yes -  listened to your first dance song and I love it!! Definitely fits! I've added it to my Spotify list!

@@acw271011 thanks Ann! It's totally understandable! Your own special day is always most important! Thanks! The dress is back getting more alterations. Sucks financially but I know I'll be really happy when i get it back all fitted! I'm glad to hear you were really happy about your decision to do an AHR. It's so much work but I think I'm excited about it now. I wasn't keen on the idea earlier but now it's going to be fun and I can just enjoy it. (Hopefully). What is the site for lulu's? I should check it out! And yes I'm happy with our choice of Lancelotti. After seeing some of @ s photos it made me really happy with our choice. Now that I've seen your video I'm so happy we decided to get one. It's so special! And something we could watch together every year. It would be amazing if we had the video back in time for our AHR, but I doubt it.

@@yycbride2016 I don't think you'll regret doing the video. It really is a beautiful souvenir to have. Plus I saw a couple of things that i missed during out actual time at Grand Coral, and Mike got some gorgeous background scenery shots that I totally love, so I think you'll find it's totally worth it!!

As much as spending more for dress alterations sucks, you'll be happy you're getting it done right. I'm sorry now I ran out of time with my dress. Seeing it after the fact I wish I had pushed a bit harder to have it fitted a bit better. So you're doing the right thing!!

@@yycbride2016 Your bouquets are to die for. They turned out amazing! Great job. Can't wait to see them in photos.

Great score on the Michael's finds. Pit stop tomorrow for me for sure. Hopefully we get lucky and find some steals too.

HomeSense/Winners/Marshalls has great deals on luggage. We've been looking for a new set (or two) as well. Might add that to tomorrow's to-do list too.

Great work girl. I love seeing everything come together for everyone although it freaks me out thinking about the closer you ladies are, the closer we are :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
