OMG! This is a wealth of information:) I loved it- super helpful.  Our wedding is November 14, 2015. I'm in the process of finding a photographer and videographer right now. So if you all have any reccomendations please let me know! I'm also thinking of making some center pieces and shipping them off.  I can't wait to see all your photos!!

hi all! we got back from our wedding this past weekend and it was amazing! the weather was perfect for all our events and everything went off w/o a hitch. we are in awe at how smoothly everything went. we had such a fantastic time and are still getting non stop messages and notes from our friends about the weekend. i am so excited for you all to have this experience! a special treat was meeting @@AandM2015 there!  obvi, we don't have the professional photos yet, but our friends have been posting and sending pix, so i put some of them together into an album for other brides so you can get a sense of the venues and backdrops for all the events. pictures are easier than describing. enjoy!

Time really flys! Thought we had plenty time but now it is only 4 months away ! Sending a list of questions to the wedding coordinator and see what she will come back with.

@@jeaninealvarez, we just booked Sascha as well ; I really enjoy his work and I think it will be perfect. We aren.t doing video for the wedding so it will be some budget for the TTD photo session! Yay! Can I ask you how much it roughly cost for your flowers and what pieces you got? I love flowers and don't think we will be bring much decor with us so the flower will be a big deal for us.

Hi everyone! So glad I found this forum, I've just confirmed our wedding in May, 2016 at the Finest! Our RSVP deadline isn't for another month but we've got about 70 people on the list, and anticipating about half of that.

Has anyone stayed on the adults only side? Wondering if it's worth it, and if it helps maintain a little privacy from everyone?

I can't wait to hear all about how your weddings go, please keep us posted :)

Congratulations and good luck with the planning!  I've stayed in the adults only building and loved it.  It was nice to have a quiet section of the beach with no children, plus the adults only side has beach beds with shades.  They have one restaurant that's only designated to building 6 (excellence building), had breakfast there once, it was really good.  You get nice little perks when you stay there.  We have a lot of kids coming to our wedding so it'll be nice to get away from everyone for a bit.  I totally think it's worth it.  Aaaand you have an AMAZING view from the balcony.

Hi ladies!  67 days and counting!

Who is next is it me?

Only negative thing I have right now is they changed wedding planners on me.  I had everything planned out and a new person emailed me said she will pull my records and send me a list of everything.. That was over a week ago.  I emailed them Monday asking what was up, wrote everything out, with some questions.  Just like I was doing before.  So hopefully by end of week I will have a response.  Everytime I email them I keep all my thoughts to one email, and wait till they respond to send another email.  Usually about a week to get back in a response, which is fine.  I have an email in my drafts prepared to send all the time.

This time around kind of stressing I was about to start printing my items out with the itinary and really need confirmation of everything.  We will see.

Final Dress Fitting August 7th.  Had my bridal shower at Painting Studio so much fun in June.  (small shower second time around)  Bacholtte party to a vineyard tour is coming up end of July and second party with my NY peeps in August.  Doing a Bridal Party BBQ at the end of August with my gang.. Bridesmaid dresses came in this week already!  Groomsmen's suits are in as well.  Alterations being done.

We leave September 8th! Staying till September 18th.  Have my son's birthday party on the 19th (2)  Honeymoon booked for September 20th cruise (earned it free from my degenerate casino play, but really never free)..  we leave the next day.  Baby is coming with us for all.

Lots to do in 67 days!

Oh and 3 suitcases packed already of stuff I have to bring (OUCH!)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
