They look great!

I'm planning the honeymoon now too :).  We are thinking 2 weeks in Paris, San Sebastian and Barcelona

That sounds absolutely fantastic.

I would probably have to beg and plead to get 2 weeks off at once!!  but the bigger issue is the kids!  Their dad is helpful but he lives 1.5 hours away so unless it's summer or spring break then it wouldn't work as they have school!  Limits things that is forsure - so for you ladies with no kids, TRAVEL NOW! hahah

I'm loving those cards. This is exactly what I was thinking of for when we come back. I really don't think it looks bad that the picture wraps into the back and I love the idea that you're including extra pictures for each person. It makes the cards to much more personalized :D. That's what I was considering for our DIY photophooth. I'm sure your guests will love them and it will bring back such good memories!

I'm trying to enjoy the planning because of what you said, while at the same time I want to fast forward time hahah.

talking about honeymoon, I saw a video of Fiji yesterday. All I can say is OMG hahah. I want to leave everything and just move there :P. I wonder how much it costs to go there...

I think we're going to keep our honeymoon simple because we're traveling to Argentina and possibly Colombia next year. I've never been to Colombia and I'm so excited to go! Luckily all this wedding stuff is helping me rack up points on my credit card so we should be able to pay for one ticket using points :D

Thanks!

I was a new shutterfly customer and happened to snag a good deal. Cards at 40% off and the extra pics free. After that darn exchange I paid $65 for 25 cards. (Was $50) I loved the idea too that's why I stole it from tygrrlily lol. I think they offer much more than a basic thank you card.

Hahaha we are going to wish it come faster no matter what we do. That's the name of the game for anything exciting - especially a wedding. Just remember to enjoying everything :) it's only 1 day and I miss that day so much ..... Lol.

We are planning our honeymoon for Aug 19 so I love seeing your ticker as they are close heheheh.

A new trip always gives you something to look forward to. I'm always the planner so I spend hours doing research as to what we're going to do there, where we can go, etc. It gives me something to do while the time comes, and Juan doesn't mind because he hates planning, he just gives me a list of things he wants to do and I just include them :D

Love the thank you cards!

As soon as I get my work schedule we will plan a honeymoon I can't wait! We are big travelers so we want to do something all out! Probably won't be til winter so we are leaning towards bora bora , Thailand, or South Africa. In the meantime I have a few day break off work a month after the wedding so we are going to go to Disney world and stay in a nicer hotel, go to some nice dinners etc

haha that can work very well. Shawn loves to travel so it has to be more a joint effort.  When we did our first trip together (where he proposed) he had never been to an AI and it was a very hard sell.  So we spent a lot of time off the resort so he felt he got his sort of trip!   Unfortunately all his ideas for trips need A LOT of time spent away - he traveled Asia for 7 weeks in 2013 so this is his idea of getting away lol

OHHHHHH those sound awesome.   Can't wait to hear what you two chose.  Truth be told our honeymoon is nothing major!   Shawn has never been to Vegas and I knew my dad was going to help pay, so we thought it was a good fit as packages (air/hotel) can be very reasonable! (and I did want to get married in Vegas!!)  We are kind of killing two birds with one stone --  we found out that our close friends, who attended our Mexican wedding, are doing a vow renewal in August in Vegas so we decided to combine the two.  We will probably ultimately chose their hotel and flight package as they did for ours but I know whatever we chose they won't care!  They chose a hotel that wouldn't be my first choice for a honeymoon but I'm pretty laid back, we can go for a fancy dinner or something. Right now I can't find packages thru West Jet for their hotel so who knows what will happen when we book in a few weeks!

Right back at you. January 21 was an awesome day for a Mexican wedding :) you looked beautiful.

BOOOO where did all the pics I attached go?   They are still in photobucket so the links shouldn't be broken.

Am I the only one who can't see them? Thanks

Hey everyone,

Our thank you cards came today from Shutterfly! We also ordered extra photos to put inside the cards that are specific to each person :)

I'm happy with how they turned out just a little annoyed the front picture wraps onto the back side lol (1st world problems).

I guess this is it for our wedding obligations. Somewhat sad :(

Enjoy your weddings ladies!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
