Another option, if you live close to the border, is ship to a border store and go and pick them up. I did that with my maracas from amols. Saved me $40 In shipping but since we decided to go on to seattle for the night I guess I spent more hehehe but you get my drift. I used kinek for my border shopping number. Also worked for my sons shorts that I can't get in Canada whatsoever

@@MJTK I feel your pain when it comes to not being able to find things that ship to Canada. It seems that everything I find is US only. It is very frustrating. My FIs friend has a P.O Box just across the boarder, and has offered to pick a couple things up from there if needed, but I really want to keep the OOT bags a surprise...

My fingers are crossed for you!!

MissJen3 welcome to 150!! its like a while new forum when you get to see the pics ;) and thanks ya im probably going to just splurge and order them..works out to just under 2.00 each which is still cheapest I've found so far.. I experienced this with my bubba kegs. ..they were only 6.98 but by the time it was all converted and shipped they ended up being like 11.00ish

Thanks everyone for the advice

@@MJTK Thank you!. I cant wait to be able to see things. Now to remember what I was interested in viewing. ahah.  My FI and I are planning a trip across the boarder shortly so we can comparison shop. In the end with the price of gas I am sure shipping will end up being cheaper. LOL

Ya that's how I always justify it..gas is so expensive lol

Trust me. I saved $40 in shipping which would have been great had I not have went to seattle for $500 hahaha.

But seattle is gorgeous and I picked up my sons shorts too and they wouldn't ship to Canada.

It's not!!! Prices are fairly similar and with our crappy dollar it ends up more. Highly disappointed.

My sister said someone she saw with a hand fan said they bought a pack of 20 at michaels. I'm going to check it out - you never know with the 40% off coupon.

I am also ordering a bunch if stuff to the border. Most of our oot stuff since shipping is so much better in the states

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
