Anyone Getting Married At Dreams Las Mareas

Recommended Posts

I think the good thing about @@Laks86 plan is that if the "vendor" is staying at the resort the vendor fee doesn't apply. The question would be how would they get their dj equipment there or would you just plan on renting from the resort?

@@projecttwayne2015 - I still didn't hear back from Rocio or Alejandro. ughhh I think I might just have to let you talk to them for me. They seem to respond to you! :) Yes, let me know about the florist. I want to keep that simple but I'm open to other options.  I figured the food would be around that much. Thankfully I'm not as far over as you. Did they provide you with the food options yet or just the price?

Who are you guys using for photos and dj? Can we start an email chain or some sort of chat? Can can save so much money if we do this all together. I booked a trip to the resort for dec to sit down with them. I hope to see some weddings while I am there as well that's why I am a little hesitant on booking anything at the moment without seeing their options

@ projectwayne2015 @@puravida2015 can we set up a call with the 3 of us? Dj would bring own equipment I would think it depends. There will be weddings in nov and dec so I would think they have more info then they are giving us.

They haven't posted much. They have a wedding manager now. The posted a number but it doesn't seem correct. There are links to menus when accessing the site through mobile but I'm not sure they're the actual menus. The seem to be the same ones from another site. Hoping to get some more info this week.

anyone have any updates?  The resort is opening soon... hopefully new info will be available soon!

I cant even print up invitations yet :(

I feel like I should follow this thread. My travel agent recommended Dreams (and the Westin and Rui), so reading about it here, and another thread (though can't seem to find it), but I'm nervous for the resort's lack of communication.

You have to keep in mind that Dreams hasn't even opened yet. Yes, communication has been spotty but that's something that I can somewhat understand. A lot of their focus is on their grand opening and immediate weddings. They just got a onsite wedding manager and she has been fairly responsive. They also recently posted a direct number.

I honestly haven't tried the number yet but just saw they posted it. Bummer! Does it give a message or anything?  You emailed Connie? She's been pretty responsive with me and my TA. Roscio replied JUST replied to my email from over a month ago but never even answered my question.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
