Stessed To The Max....need Advice

Recommended Posts

Hey @@FutureMrsGlover

I guess there are a few people that are thinking. I honestly didn't think of that brilliant idea. I wish I had and maybe I wouldn't have this problem and everyone would probably be booked by now.  My deadline is only a couple weeks away....eeeeeeek

That's actually a smart idea. I didn't think of doing that. I have the deadline sent out for the actual deadline of July 4th. I wish I had to think of that then maybe everyone would have their deposits in by now.

How are you doing with it? do you have many people booked so far? how many did you invite?

Well even though mine is not "due" until July 14th, I had to send out a memo the other day because my TA advised me that my flight was getting full. Sunwing only reserves 30 seats for my group, and if more than 30 book, they could potentially not have a seat on the plane, so I let them know this. I invited 53 people down but anticipate maybe 30-35 guests (or maybe less!) actually coming. I haven't asked my TA but all my bridesmaids have put down their deposits, and hopefully my parents are getting on it....... Just want this part to be over so that I know who's coming and who's not!

Yeah me too. I totally wish this part was over too. I am just waiting now for July 4th to come around so that I have some numbers to work with. What's done is done at that point when it comes to booking. This is definitely the most stressful part for me.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
