Hi everyone,

just recently got engaged and now are in planning our destination wedding mode! It's been pretty overwelming but alot of the forums and blogs on this site have really helped me decide on certain resorts and made it easier for me to look at resorts and get a better prospective on things.  So we are currently looking at 4 resorts: Barcelo Maya Palace, Dream Riveria Maya, NOW Sapphire and Moon Palace.  We will be having roughly 100 guests and are looking for a resort that best accomodates Hindu wedding ceremonies and has good reviews with photos, resort, hair and makeup and other details.  If anyone has suggestions please let me know!

I know it's not on your list but the karisma properties have packages for Hindu weddings I believe. They may be worth adding to your potential resort lists!

Thank you, yes we were looking at Moon Palace and they have packages for Hindu weddings and will definitely check out the photography site :)

 

The only thing that seems off based on reviews is the spa (for hair and makeup, not a big deal but counts).  Is it an easy process if I were to get someone to do it that would come to the resort?

@@kmistry Moon Palace & Hard Rock Riviera Maya are both quickly becoming go to spots for our Indian beach brides & grooms looking to get married here in Mexico as these larger resorts are able to easily accommodate wedding groups of 100+ guests & are familiar with the traditions of Hindu, Sikh and Muslim wedding ceremonies! That said we know the local Sikh/Hindu priests are also able to perform the ceremony at any hotel or non-resort location.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
