Wedding Favors And Oot Bags?

Recommended Posts

@@linaco80 - I don't want to pay the delivery fee ($3.00/delivery!!!) so I think we'll meet up with people and give them their Bubba Jugs. My idea is to stuff the jugs and attach a note to them with cute ribbon. I think we are going to do both because the jugs they can use the whole time and the shot glasses can double as a place card

As far as the favors, I think we'll get shot glasses with their names on them and do something like this:

We are bundling out favours with the rest of the OOT bag supplies. We are doing different small bags within the OOT bag and we are calling onw Wedsing Day (or something similar ) and we are including tissues and the favour. @@pddcmc we do not want to pay the delivery either. We are thinking of handing them out to our guests personally. Also ensures that we know we have spent some kind of quality one on one time with each guest.

pddcmc what size bubba are you giving? I felt the same way about bags...it would of cost alot to buy a bag big enough to be useful for our guests..

calgarybride2015 yes I have 2 of the 54 oz ones we took one on occasion but I was too embarrassed to use them lol.. I figure even though our cups are small they will still be a conversation piece because there will be so many of us using them and they are bright orange ;) plus they will be personalized.. The clothes pins are for securing your towel to the beach chairs so it doesn't blow away ;) not a complete necessity but it does help it from blowing around

I had to go and look -- ours are 34oz and I thought those were big!!

The clips are a neat idea!!

The shot glass idea is also neat.

I considered getting personalized wine glasses, so those could be put out to use at our toast instead of the resort glasses, but the thought of bringing all that glass scares me!

I expressed my concern about the glass to my FI as well. He assures me that he will bubble wrap each shot glass very well, and he has offered his carry on as the transportation.  I hope everything goes smoothly in transport!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
