Where, When, How Much are your Guests Paying???

Recommended Posts

I'm looking to have my wedding June 27-29 or Dec 27-29, 2014.

Please tell me what your wedding date is, which resort you chose and how much your guests are paying to stay at the hotel (per couple, per night prices please).  I'd really like to keep it to under $300 per couple for June or under $400 per couple for Dec.  Is that reasonable?

Thanks!

I don't have my rates yet because my date is too far out. However I do know that $300 per couple is a little low. I received May 2013 rates just to get an idea for my Cancun wedding and the cheapest was $389 per person for 3 nights at the Gran Caribe. June maybe a little higher since it's the beginning of vacation season. Hope that helps :)

That is at the RIU Palace Riveria Maya.

I picked it site unseen, but it has great reviews on trip advisor.  I'm not having my wedding or reception on the resort so I can't comment on their wedding services.  I just used a travel agent to book a wedding package because it seemed easiest and enables guests to book and pay individually.

It really depend what time of year. We just came back from 6days @ Now Sapphire in Cancun, we paid w $2100 with airfare and transportation.  We received a a quote from Dreams Palm beach for $138 pp for a day and are waiting for TA sometime booking air fare and hotel together you can get a better deal.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
