STD for two different dates & locations?

We're having a simple civil ceremony on a Friday afternoon in our hometown. The "big" symbolic wedding  will happen in Mexico six months later. Our families are mostly either on the far west coast or the far east coast. We expect most guests will want to make the trip to Mexico. A few of our VIF (very important family!) members will only be able to come to the local wedding so we're having a lunch reception following the ceremony.

 

We don't want anyone feel left out that they weren't invited to both celebrations but we also don't want them to think they are expected to come to both.

 

How would you word the STD's?
