It seems lately that my wedding contact/coordinator at my venue has been really delayed in responding to my emails. For instance, over 12 days late to respond or acknowledge my email! I consider myself a pretty laid back bride...I know that if they had a bridezilla on their hands that this delayed response might not fly so well...

I'm a little over 3 months out until the big day in Tulum...Is anyone else having this issue??

I've made mention of this delayed response the last two times this has happened and they apologize saying they are busy with wedding....well I should be one of those weddings, right?

I trust them and I feel like on the big day everything will be fine, it's just the waiting time to me is really bugging me!!!

Okay, thanks for the vent session!

Oh man, sorry to hear this! It can definitely be frustrating not getting a prompt response. I had the same problem in the beginning stages of my planning, which was understandable because they had more pressing weddings to attend to. I think even in the 3 month window they are more focused on the weddings happening now, which is annoying because it doesn't make you feel special or taken care of. Is there a whole wedding coordinator team, or just one contact? In my case I emailed a general email address and that made it easier because whoever was available and got to it first would get back to me when they could. Here's hoping they start getting back to you more promptly!

      Hello Amandita,

I am sorry to hear about your situation.

Is important to let you know that most of the all inclusive hotels get started with your wedding 2 months prior your wedding date.  Since everything is managed by packages for them is very easy to get together all things in less than 2 months.

I know it is not the same for you as a Bride but remember all inclusive coordinators manage around 25-32 weddings per month.

Because of the above, many independent wedding planners have a lot of work in All Inclusive hotels!

If that is the case, here is a thread that will help you to define the steps before hiring an independent wedding planner for you:

      Happy planning!
