Hi ladies,

I found these bridesmaid dresses over a year ago and LOVE them, My MOH and I went to the store to try them on last fall.. and the fit is amazing.  I have looked into other options for bridesmaid dress because these ones are $200.  I didn't want my girls to have to pay that much, but they all insist we go with those dresses as they love them and no other dress comes close.  They are lace up back, therefore they do not need alterations.

Venus - BM1277

If you go to their website you can search for stores near you that carry Venus and than I called the one's closes to me to see if they had this dress in as a sample to try on :)

The dress comes in a TON of different colours.

These are really nice! I had one very similar that I wore for my friends wedding b alfred angelo... they were a little cheaper i think like 120-150$ I don't know if you've looked at those ones or not? But they might be a little cheaper and very similar... but either way these are beautiful dresses and will no doubt look amazing!

Yeah and here is the problem that I am getting this dress is amazing but the material doesnt permit my colour, I think what I will do is hit up a couple places and tell them my colour and then see what is avaliable, I had coffee with one of my bridesmaids last night and she was laughing that since I am so set on this colour that they will probably end up in long sleeve ankle length dress to get the colour to work! But they will do whatever to make me happy! LMAO

Csho, maybe what you should do about your sister is order the dress and then just bring it with you to Cuba for her... maybe do what Kay is suggesting and go with a lace up back so you dont have to worry about the fit so much! Just an idea instead of fighting what companies are where!

Jolene thats a good idea... the only problem is my sister absolutely hates the lace up back .... BUT I am paying for it so she may just have to deal with it lol! We'll see what we can figure out! What is the exact colour you are looking for?

Hey csho,

What is the style number of the dress? - I would love to check it out!

Hey jolene028,

How many of these dresses do you need? and what sizes?  I know a girl on here who is selling her bridesmaids dresses in that exact colour and for cheap!  They are brand-new.

Hi ladies,

I had originally designed and made my own RSVP boarding pass's ... but I didn't love them.  So I went to vistaprint.ca to see about making a postcard on there for our RSVP's.  I liked them much better.  I got 100 for $20.

What do you all think?

Kay these are great!!! Very cute! I like that you added the email address on there! What a good idea! I am making my boarding pass invites and then making a luggage ticket for the rsvp card! But these are super cute!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
