Kay- The way you work you won't have a problem getting all of your stuff done. Once you are done your second job. I'm excited to see the end product. I've been working on my bouquets. Slowly but surely. I'm having a hard time making them look nice all together. So I might go to the Pickering flea market, there is a lady there that does inexpensive fake flower bouquets (I might have told you about her) I'm going to see if she can take the flowers I have made and make them look pretty all together. lol

I am super excited to hear how it goes! Let us know! And I am definitely praying to the dress gods for you today lol!

Alley - Let us know if they were all you thought that they would be... funny enough my dress was a picture that I carried around and when I finally found it it was the one!

Kay - I was talking with a photographer when I was still thinking about doing this and she said the best advise that she gives girls is get your hair done professionally and maybe pop in somewhere where they do makeup trials, then you will feel like 100 bucks and it will show, or she said if you normally don't wear red lipstick do that with fake lashes then you are "dressed up" enough to be relaxed because it is more unlike you almost like a character!!! Good Luck.

Ohhhh I second getting at least your makeup done! I had mine done at Sephora before I did my photos and it made me feel awesome!! I looked sooo good! I didn't have my hair done, but I never really like how my hair looks when a hair dresser does it. But that's just me! But I would invest in getting at least your makeup done forsure!

Hey there. So the dresses I thought I loved didn't look great on me at all. It's funny how that worked out. lol I did however find a dress I loved. However it's a one of kind and lots of people before me have tried it on. I know I can get it dry cleaned and it will be like new but I'm having a hard time committing to something that's pretty much full price but isn't new. Hmmm decisions decisions.........

I'm off to try on more dresses this week and it might make my decision on the previous dress more clear. Time is getting on. I better kick it into high gear or I might be wearing my bathing suit to get married. hahaha!

Hope all is well with everyone else.

Good luck on your shoot today Kay.

Good luck on your shoot today Kay.

Ask for a discount if you are buying it off the rack. I purchased mine off the rack and worked it down from $1150 plus taxes (which would have been close to $1400) to $1000 taxes included - at first they said they'd give it to me $1150 taxes included and then I said I'd think about it - called them back and asked if I paid cash could they give me a better deal and she said the lowest she could go was $1000 taxes included and of course I took it! Mine was brand new from this year and I think I am the one who tried it on the most... but most bridal salons will lower the price on off the rack dresses. I had a friend of mine haggle hers down from like 2000$ to like $1200 (that was in a salon in Montreal) so they might have had more wiggle room, but I wouldn't be shy to ask for a discount and if you can afford it offer to pay cash because visa transactions are costly for businesses.

I am super excited to finally see the dress you pick! And good luck with the rest of your dress appointments. Once I found the one I didn't want to try more on, but I did to make absolute sure, but in the end I kept comparing it to "the dress" and never felt the same in any other one.

And worse comes to worst getting married in your bathing suit wouldn't be the worst thing lol!

Kay that is awesome to hear how well it went... This was one of those back and forth for me, so I finally asked my FI if he had heard of them and if he wanted one and we talked about it, and it came down to yes it is awesome but where do we put it after LOL so we had some good laugh's and I didn't do it, but every time I see one or a Groupon for one I think about it again.
