2013 & 2014 Iberostar Laguna Azul, Cuba Brides!

Thanks Jolene. That's great information. There are some other factors keeping her from coming to the wedding as well. I'll pass along this information and then she can decide if she can make it work. It would be lovely if she decided she could make it work. Grandmothers are the best :)

I figured that was probably also the case, but I know that most people don't realize that americans can go to Cuba!

And don't worry you have loads of time, some of these ladies are so organized it is scary, I am like you I owrk better under pressure LOL

Hahah Jolene I laughed when you said some ladies are so organized... like seriously my wedding is in a year and I pretty much have everything planned... I usually procrastinate but I am soooo excited I couldn't wait to get started and get things organized!

But now I have all the big stuff done, so now we have to find rings, and decide on decorations and write our ceremony, but I am trying to wait a little before we do all that stuff.

My FI and I are headed to Europe in two weeks and we are getting our engagement photos done while we are there! I am soooooooo excited to get them done and share them!

Also going on Saturday for my boudoir photoshoot ! So excited for that as well! I borrowed a veil from a friend that I am going to wear for the shoot and also for the wedding!

Other then that that's all that's new with me.... I'll post and let you know how my shoot goes this weekend!

Sooo nice Lydia! I love it! I can't wait to get my photos back!

My boudoir photo shoot went really well!  It was sooo much fun! I got my makeup done at Sephora beforehand and I wore fake eyelashes which made my eyes really stand out! I looked fantastic! I was soooo pleased with how it all turned out and I saw quick glances of most of my photos and there were definitely some really great ones! I cannot wait to get some of them back! She said she'd have a few teasers for us this week! So when I get them back if any are appropriate I will post one!

Lydia - which photobook company did you use? And have you received it yet?

Hello everyone.

Just thought I would share. We officially have 42 people booked for our wedding and many more booking closer to the date. I'm so thrilled that part of it is over. Now bring on the fun stuff. Going to try on more dresses this week. Can't wait for that.

Hope everyone's planning is going smoothly.

    • OMG these are incredible! Seriously blown away by the thoughtful detail you have put into every aspect of your gifts, your guests are going to be amazed! Props to you for adding so many personal touches and putting in so much time to make these gifts amazing!
    • These bags are amazing!! You are so organized and detailed, I am so impressed! I LOVE the Vistaprint stuff you ordered, the logo is so cute, I love your personalization!
    • I love etsy!! It's a great place to find personalized gifts without such a hefty price tag. I was thinking of getting my bridesmaids personalized necklaces with their names on them. I found these ones that are affordable and you can pick the chain length and different fonts, so you can really make them your own and pick what you know each bridesmaid will want. https://www.etsy.com/listing/595334072/personalized-name-necklace-stainless?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=personalized necklace&ref=sc_gallery-3-9&plkey=a8662525c53ec285c1b46b0f308162d0591edff8:595334072
    • Hi everyone, I am so happy that I am getting married to the love of my life. He proposed me and we are getting married within in a couple of months. And I have started preparations for my big day. I am super excited about a lot of things and also worried about many things.I have some inhibitions about my face and skin. Since I am a working woman, I have never got much time for personal care. This is the right time for it now. I need  proper medical grade skin care. Want to improve my skin tone and texture  I read some details about it here, https://www.mcleanclinic.com/nonsurgical-procedures/non-surgical/skin-care/, and found it really helpful. Can anyone of you suggest me some more tips? Like what I can do at home to have a glow on my face?  Thanks in advance.
    • I think you should approach the dentist. That would be the best idea as of now.
