    Congratulations! I love the felt balls, definitely going to look into that a bit more! Would be fab to see some of your TTD photos too

                  Here's a tutorial that I looked at before trying to borrow Cheerio's idea but with tulle instead of felt.  But this one uses felt.  http://www.cakeevent...om-flowers.html

                    Thanks agm04. I'm going to take a look at that. Maybe instead of using real flowers arrangements, I can do this to save some money. The resorts charge WAYY too much for the extra flower arrangements you want to have for decorations.

                      I agree...I mean we are doing VERY few flowers and it's still a decent sized expense!  I have 6 more of the tulle balls to make - for 18 total - and I'm going to use them on the aisle chairs at the ceremony, and then am trying to think of a way to use them at the reception, too.  They're pretty and it's so much work - I'd love to be able to find a use!  They're much bigger than the felt ones though, bc the tulle circles come pre-cut at 9 inches.  Let me know if you decide to use them and how!
