You buy these styrofoam pieces and the bakery decorates that. I plan on having desserts, and cupcakes/ sweets table. It's cheaper than paying 4-6 bucks a person.

Lol. Don't judge me. Ill spend my money elsewhere . wink.gif

I have seen them... if they are don't by someone who knows what they are doing they are really nice....and do save lots of money!

Yeah , since our wedding is actually at a restaurant off- property we would be paying for the local bakery. So I guess I'll see if I can take the pieces down and ill pay them to decorate it. :D I haven't even wanted to think of my dress. I've gained weight recently and I just don't wanna go there. I'd like to squeeze lipo into my budget.
I've seen some done they look amazingly real. Besides most times the cake is wasted just needed for pics. Wish lipo was in my budget as well.I know the feeling

I thought I was the only one that gained weight during their engagement. Glad I'm not alone!  Between people wanting to celebrate our engagment,  holidays and general summer fun it's been a downward spiral in that department. I've gotta buckle down though because I should be having my first fitting in about 10 weekssmile43.gif

I know it's hard to go shopping when you're not feeling so hot about yourself but you'll look gorgeous in your dress!!!!    One good thing about having one picked out is then you know what body part(s) you need to work harder at toning!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
