Show us your Inspiration Boards!

Recommended Posts

Hello Brides!

I couldn't find a thread specifically for Inspiration Boards. So I thought I'd start one.

Creating a wedding inspiration board is one of the best ways to get your wedding colors and style ideas out of your head and onto paper. (And, trust me: that will make it much easier to convey your ideas to everyone, from your wedding planner to your cake baker.) I don't know about you guys but since planning my wedding, I can't tell you how many times I have been asked by different vendors to send my inspiration board. It is becoming the "norm" to do and is has been so so so helpful.

You can make one yourself using PowerPoint, Photoshop, a Mac, etc. There are also many websites that offer easy inspiration board builders.

If you do not have an inspiration board already, you should definitely give it a shot... And post it here! :)

Here is mine.

I didn't make this inspiration board, but I did use it during our planning:

Thanks for letting me know... I definitely did not find that board in my search.

It's a green cymbidium orchid. I love them, they're my favorite flower and the inspiration for my color scheme. I incorparted them into the design of my invites and I'll also use them for floating orchid & candle centerpieces and in my bouquet.
