I am starting a workout program today ( Jillian Michael's 30 day shred) and I was wondering if anyone can tell me how far in advance I can order my dress? I found one I like at Davids Bridal and my wedding in early February 2013.  I was thinking May but now I want to give myself some time to lose weight.  Would August/September be to late?

What do you think?

David's Bridal you can order the dresses but you can also buy off the rack, so you have a lot more time!   Also, they can do alterations there so if you go soon and loose weight they can adjust your dress.  I didn't buy my dress there, but my dress has to be taken in and its not a problem.  You can also look at corset backs which allow some wiggle room for weight fluctuation.

The time for ordering depends on the dress, if they normally stock it or not and can even vary by color choice (white, soft white or ivory).  The one I got I was lucky enough they had my size and color in stock and I bought off the rack.  If I had wanted the other color it would have taken 14-15 weeks as a rush order.  I'd say if you know what you want and you need to order it, give them minimum 4-6 months and you can always do the alterations if you lose more weight.  =)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
