Orange and purple?

Recommended Posts

I will be going to Cancun in September and stopping by flower shops to see what I pic.  The combo looks so nice.  I think we picked great colors.  I sent out a survey monkey to all my guest and asked them if they know if they are going for sure, maybe, or will not for sure.  It was kind of a save the date since it was the first time they heard of it, but I least I got a rough estimate.  I figured, I'd figure it out if we are short, plus some have time shares and will not be staying at our resort.  When is your wedding?

Our wedding is February 2013. We have got a group rate, but need to deide on an offsite venue before we can pick the exact date. I requested that our guests submit an RSVP via our wedding website and I have received some responses, but not many. We are going to the states this weekend (I live in Canada), so if we find any good deals we will probably just buy it.I l

I LOVE our colors! It's kinda a funny story how I chose them. I was out shopping for a dress last year for a friends wedding and I saw this dress at LeChateau that was black, purple and had a pop of Orange> I LOVED how the orange and purple looked together. So when I was thinking about wedding colors I really liked purple and thought of that dress and Boom! We got a great combo :) (of course I can't find a pic of the dress, I did not end up buying it)

Marilili- How are you printing your invites?

I bought the paper to make bridal invites. I am super excited and will post them once they are made, bit though I would share the pic and get some feedback on how you think it will look layed this way.

The purple color is more of a rich purple and did not appear as it's true color in the pic. I hope I will be able to print on the white flower paper, it is kind of fabric like.

I love the paper! the white one gives it a nice touch.

I just ordered mine on rack cards from vistaprint, we decided not to cut them, but the sleeves we are working on.

I can't wait to see what they look like. So far I love what I see!

I am waiting for my MOH to be free to help complete them which will probably not be for a couple weeks. Not sure if I can wait that long. I got the inspiration to do these from another bride on here that completed her STD as luggage tags.

I have heard of people using pink and orange. I think blue and orange will look great. Here is a pic to get you excited! I am sure you have looked at some already. I like how the brown and white are incorporated with this one :). Are you thinking of an aqua blue or something else?

I love this!!  How do I do this?  I am looking at a blue thats a little darker, but still bright. Maybe like a sapphire/cornflower. I like the brown and white incorporated as well.  I am big on the earth tones.  I thought green would be to hard.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
