So this week's task:

Find a printer for the wedding invites

MOB attire

finalize guest list for Welcome Home Reception

guest list for bridal and bachelorette parties

It has been task to find a printer for my invitations since my wireless printer won't sync with my computer after it had to be reconfigured... Still working on that.

My mom and I went looking for a dress for her and we found it,(Kasper dress suit 60% off) so now I have one thing to check off. (pic coming soon).

We also stopped by Bath and Body Works. Their Christmas anti-bacterial was $.50 (originally $1.50) and then they had these holders in our wedding color, which was another $.50 each.  I also got turquoise mess bags and turquoise plastic "makeup" bags for $1.50 (originally $3.00) for my bridesmaids and MOB/MOG.  Ubber excited about this find. Need to check tomorrow about being able to bring it on the cruise.. if not I can still take them back.

My other task is to find shoes...  I was think heals but I think it will be too much to have my dress altered to add length so I think I will do flats. Currently on the hunt for cute white flats so I can get my shoes "figgie"ed out. www.figgieshoes.com Waiting to see what the price will be for their work. My college roommate said she would purchase them for me but this just might be a splurge item and will go dutch on them .lol

Hey Ladies, so I did a mock up of my invitation. What do you think? Does it need something? Is the startfish cheesy? I'm thinking about embossing an S at the bottom right to pull it together. I went to paper source to return paper and was introduced to stamping... I lost my mind. It was out of control. invitation mockup

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
