Hey Ladies,

I have just booked Sun Gold Photography! I have been looking at different photographers for about 6 months now and always overlooked Sun Gold because of the price list that I found posted on BDW. Since I kept coming across their awesome work on facebook, I decided to go ahead and inquire with Paula (one half of the husband wife team). Paula responded immediately and advised that they are happy to discuss customizing a package that will fit within my budget. So we did just that! She also advised me that there is a price list floating around BDW that has incorrect prices that are higher than what they charge. So if you are hesitant about contacting them because of their price, give them a call and see if they can work within your budget and customize a package for you.

Happy Planning!

Hey Ladies,

I wanted to come by and share with you a gift from my brother! My Bouquet and my FI's bout! I was so excited when I got the email of the final product! It turned out way more awesome then I could ever imagine.

The Bouquet and Bout are both made out of Clay...That's right ladies...I said Clay. Preserving my bouquet is one of the things at the top of my wedding planning to do list. I just can't imagine paying a lot of money for a bouquet and not being able to keep it past a couple of days so this is a great alternative. Here are a few pics of my bouquet and the link to the DK Designs. The owner, Diane made everything by hand :)

I am sorry I had seen them but as our wedding was getting closer (before we decided to change the date) I had to go a more inexpensive route with a real touch bouquet. But my brother and I hadn't talked about it in months so I didn't think he had ordered it.

It was a tad on the pricey side but worth every penny. The bouquet was $350 and the bout was $25. My dad looked at the pic and said "Boy Brett (my fi) got jipped!" lol My dad is a little extra. I was thinking about getting the bridesmaids bouquet made to match but it would be $125 each. The were going to double as centerpieces though. I am going to see if the lady who is doing the real touch bouquet can make some to match though.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
