Is anyone doing the "I Do" letters for the cake table? and how are you decorating them? I just bought plain white letters, now I am not sure that I want to leave them plain....

My sister did this. It was really cute. She took silver puffy paint and decorated them with stripes and poka dots to match her cake! It was super cute. Actually... now that I think about it I think she did blue and silver (her colors).

Did you just get those at Target on clearance!! I did! I am going to put them on our candy buffet table and not do much to them. I like the simple look to them. Another idea is they sell glitter spary and that would look nice.

I painted mine blue last night. I need another coat because you can see the brush marks. I realized when I was done, it says on the back to sand slightly before painting for best results.. duh.. anyhow, I have these clear crystal things from a flower arrangement, I was thinking about gluing them on top to make them sparkly, but to be honest if our bags are too full when packed, these are the first to be left out. :)

I think it could be cute to glue silk flowers to them?? Not sure how it would look. It would be nice to have something to do a trial run on.

You know what? I kind of like them plain. I can see rose petals surrounding the "I DO" over top a colored table cloth with maybe your cake in one the tabe too. I think it would look really pretty.

I got a B and a G and hung them on the backs of our chairs. I didn't paint them, but instead put a colored ribbon to hang them.
