Congratulations!
We looked at Punta Cana originally too; it is our back up plan if we cannot for some weird reason get Cayo Levantado. One thing for sure.... Punta Cana is absolutely GORGEOUS! Happy planning!

I know! I feel the SAME way! I feel like we are planning almost TOO far in advanced. I am looking to get married at the Hard Rock Hotel Feb 8 2013 and they can't even provide me information, because it's too far in advanced. Ah! Guess they are on island time haha. I hope everthing works out

Hola Ladies!  I had took a bit of a break from the site and planning  for a bit as im sure I was driving my fiance and MOH absolutely crazy sharing all the awesome Ideas I have been coming up with so far in advance lol 

BUT  We Officially Can Book & Get Our Dates In 2 Months :) :) :)  This has be SUPER EXCITED.

It will be so nice to finally have a date and send everything Ive been working on out!  :)

I finally have my boarding passes, Save the date magnets and Pricing buisnesscards  tweaked just the way I want them and everything is ready to print just waiting for date confirmation :)

Hows everyone elses planning going??  Whats everyone else got on the go?

Hello Ladies!

 

I'll be getting married late March/Early April 2013 in the Dominican. I have my heart set on Dreams La Romana, but have recently been also looking at Grand Bahia Principe La Romana, as I feel it may be a bit more affordable for my guests.

 

I'm hoping to find a travel agent soon, and also hoping they can provide pricing for the dates I am interested in so that I can confirm an exact date and start save the dates, invitations, planning etc!

 

Does anyone have a travel agent they would recommend for group rates (30-50 people expected)? I am hoping to find one that will honour price drops in case people end up finding better deals after booking.

 

I've been engaged since July, but now that I am finally starting the planning process, this is all starting to feel real! yay!

Does anyone have any idea when pricing may be available for March 2013? I am soooo anxious to confirm a date so I can get going on STD's, etc. etc.....

I have a travel agent from Blue Petal calling me tomorrow - does anyone have any information/reviews on them?

Depending on how that call goes, I'll also be going out to some local (eastern Ontario) travel agents and seeing what I can find out.

 

I'm so excited to start planning! Also, so glad I found this forum!

Ladies we can finally say we are getting married next year!!! Woohoo!!! Generally most resorts/venues wont book more than a year in advance. March 2013....just a couple of months and you are good to go!! Good Luck!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
