some examples that we have done are:

Japan
(we went to the Cherry Blossom Festival, an authentic Japanese street food restaurant, looked up interesteding facts about Japan (like we found out that the country produces NO natural resources) and watched a documentary about Japanese culture)

Brazil
(went to see a live band (Alo Brasil) they are awesome - it is like Samba and Carnival with amazing music, went to a Brazilian steakhouse for dinner and watched a show about Brazilian food on TV)

there are so many possibilities with this one....
This is such a good idea...I think we will start doing this :)

I don't think Tom and I have ever really been on a "true" date ... because we always end up wanting to find friends and hang out with them as well. But, we will go to dinner by ourselves, Chophouse 47, or an upscale Italian restaurant, or somewhere just the two of us ... and then we always want to go to a bar afterwards. lol.

Now that he's home, I'm going to make him stay in for a home cooked meal every now and then (I cook A LOT but he would ALWAYS eat out before we were together). I have 2 wines (one red, one white) delivered through my wine club 1x month, so I'm going to start cooking meals that pair with those wines and have an in-house dinner once a month. Tom's not a wine lover, but he's pumped up about my business so we're going to get him to start appreciating wine!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
