Where are you getting the "collapsible Cups" from? Never heard of them.

Hi ladies, here are some pictures. Hope they work, if not go to amazon.com and just search for collapsible cups. We are thinking of getting them from amazon but they were a little bit pricey. I am still searching for a website where I can buy a bulk of them. I'll let you know if I come across anything. We don't feel like taking 30 to 40 mugs all the way to Mexico. Hope the images work.

It took forever to finally decide on what bags I wanted, and then it took months to gather all the items I wanted as the contents of the bags. Plus it didn't help that I wasn't sure exactly how many people were going. But all the RSVPs are in, the final headcount is done. And here it is:

I got the bags from a wholesaler on ebay: http://stores.ebay.com/The-Deal-Rack

It was $165 for 48 pcs. I think there may be even cheaper options out there (such as the Dollar Store), but I couldn't find a tote bag like this in yellow. I'm very happy with the quality of the bag.

The tags on the bag are from Paper Presentation.

I got the first aid kits ($1 each)  from medco.com and almost all the meds that I packed in there were from medco.com as well.

Here is the template for the label on the first aid kit. I just bought a whole sheets of label paper from Staples and printed on them. Then I used a paper cutter to cut each label and attached them to the first aid kit.

Here are the packets all in the first aid kit: I got Advil, Emergen-C, Pepto Bismol, Tylenol (not from medco), Imodium A-D (the blistore packs), and LifeSavers candy (from CVS)

I got the idea for the Imodium A-D envelope from another bride on BDW but I can't remember who! They look really cute.

Here is the template for it and the safety info that I inserted as well:

I also bought some antibacterial hand gel from Bath and Body when they were on sale for about .69 cents each, some lip balm from Avon when they were also on sale (pink for the ladies and just white ones for the guys), tissue packets that one of my mom's co-workers got at a dollar store (9 packets of tissue sold for $1), Shout wipes from medco.com. I placed them all in ziplock "biohazard" bags that I was able to get from people who work in hospitals, and topped it off with a camouflaged label that I printed out using cardstock. Here's the finished survival kit product:

Here's the template for the bag topper. I'm not sure if the background camouflage image and the "Survival Kit" font will show up. In any case, you can download the font in dafont.com. The font's name is "Steamer".

Included are also yellow and gray pashminas which I bought from Pioneer Group in downtown NYC. They were 12 for $26. Not shown are rolled up handkerchiefs for the men. All the tags were made by me by printing on cardstock and then using a 2-inch round cutter to make each tag. I used a paper cutter with rectangular holes to thread the ribbon onto each side of the tag.

Here is the template for the pashmina tags:

I also have water guns that I bought from Oriental Trading (25 for $10) and playing cards that I got from a wholesaler in downtown NY ($6 for 10). Ignore the pink pashmina in the picture.

Finally, there's the welcome letter that I will place in the front pocket of each bag. The petal enclosure and paper were all from Paper Source. The twine was from Michael's. I will also be placing a travel brochure and wedding timeline in the bag but I still have to finish designing it on VistaPrint.

And that's it! I hope this helps someone out!!

Candian Girl, yes, I definitely decided to do assigned tables.  FI and I will likely sit with parents to solve that issue.  But the overwhelming consensus is that assigned tables/seats is a must, so I definitely will do that.  Although the idea of sitting down to do that task... not the highlight of my wedding planning!

    • Hi Brides! I have a Wally Bag - 66" available - $90 + shipping (US only) The wally bag typically sells for $120-$180. I used this gown bag once to transport my dress from MN to Mexico for our wedding - IT WAS PERFECT!   I was actually able to pack 4 additional maxi dresses, and my husband's wedding attire, plus a few pairs of shoes and some jewelry. I packed the dress the night before we left, and just moments before we left, I zipped the bag and folded it - ready for travel. It comes up with a nice over-the-shoulder strap, making it really easy to carry through the airports. No issues on Delta with the bag as my carry-on - I chose to put in the overhead bin, but the flight attendant did offer to hang it in the closet for me. Once we got to the resort, about 10 hours after I first folded the bag, I unpacked the bag and my dress was perfect - no wrinkles! My dress was mostly lace and had a bit of a train, but it arrived perfectly!  Honestly, this is the best way to travel with your dress!
    • we ended up using Facebook messenger when we were in Mexico - the hotel had free wifi and at least 1 person from each family/couple had FB on their phone already - it was pretty easy to communicate among guests "hey, we're heading to the beach bbq for lunch." or "everyone is hanging at the small pool today".  a plus was that some people tried to get a hold of me via FB on the day of the wedding and I was totally not checking my phone - they were asking if the wedding was outside given the rain forecast, thankful my mom, MOH and a few other friends were on the group and could respond for me :)

    • Hi Everyone, So, I was cleaning out my closet and realized that I never sold off my extra wedding OOT bag stuff from our wonderful DW.   46 Daily Spanish for Dummies 30 Pool colored OOT fabric bags - approximately 13in x 13in. They lay flat.  I used them for our wedding and they were perfect for everything we needed to fit in each bag. There’s a slight shade variation in the group; I’m guessing some were cut from a different bolt of fabric.  They are also a little wrinkled from storage and will probably be wrinkled from shipping. I have three additional ones, but they somehow got something on them (likely toddler related). If needed, I can try to wash it out and send those as well.
