Okay so I absolutely in love with passport invites....the gilt who made our save the date post cards was amazing but she is charging 6.50 per passport invite I need at least 100 and she offers no discounts. I do not want to diy because I run a business and have no time to make them for myself becaause I would end up spending 1000.00 trying to make them 100% perfect...im a.perfectionist. : ( any suggestions?!

100 invites...wow, that's a lot! I'm not sure how early you are in your wedding planning, but could you do the passport invites later when you have a sense of how many guests are NOT coming at all? If it were me, I wouldn't spend money on invites on people I know can't or won't come.

I would love to do that but I have a huge italian family. If someone did not get an invite it would start ww3. Ughh family.

I searched everywhere for passport invites as I had a similar # to send out and couldn't afford $5-10 per invite so I ended up DIY-ing them.  You could purchase the $10 template from ayleebits.com and then have a printing company print and cut the inside pages so all you would have to do is the covers which are not too time consuming.  You would have to spend a little time putting all of the information into the pages but that probably wouldn't take too long.  I definitely found that the most time consuming part was printing and cutting the inside pages.

Save the dates went out this morning... all 100 of them. All these people say they are.coming but when it comes down to it I will be interested to see how many actually attend. I think I might have to suck it up and spend the money....in my family if I sent an invite to one person and not to another they would call.asking why they didn't get one and how.its.bad manners I.can hear the complaints rolling in already. Ugh.

Maybe shop around other vendors? Ones who will do discounts for higher volume - Allurements by Rebecca for example has different pricing for more than 100 invitations.

We also have to do 100+ invites (boarding passes) so I feel your pain!!

Check out www.etsy.com I found the person that is going to be doing mine there. I was specifically looking for someone in Canada to save on shipping and duty. There's a lot on that site.

I used BeyondDesign on etsy: http://www.etsy.com/listing/60448773/design-fee-passport-cruise-wedding  The pictures on the link are our actual invites... they were $4.85 each... which was the most affordable I found.  Totally worth it!!  We got soooo many compliments!

She actually made my save the dates! Ill have to look into those did she include a rsvp card with that?? Not sure why mine would be 650.00 I've already spent a good deal of money with her and no discount : (

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
