We're now getting married at the Hilton (only because we're inviting 118 people and we have no idea how many are going to show.) The only villa in the Corridor that would hold our group is Villa Vista Ballena. We toured this villa in person and it's very nice. I just didn't think it was worth the $10,000 rental fee for one night. That fee didn't include food or anything else, that's just for the space. This is why we settled on a resort.

For a party of 40 people, why don't you check out Cabo San Lucas Vacation Villas, Resorts & Hotels, Los Cabos Mexico and take a look at Villa Amanda. It's a great space and they will allow a 3 night minimum with no event fee.

I'm going to look at my emails with all the info on the villas (what the rates are, if they will allow a wedding, what the minimum night requirements are, etc.)

But off the top of my head, we researched:

Villa Amanda

Villa Vista Ballena

Villa Hayden

Casa Luna Llena

Casa Paraiso (found on Cabo San Lucas)

Villas del Mar 498 (also at suncabo)

Most of the villas wouldn't hold our group. Other reasons were because they didn't allow weddings or the event fee/rental fee was too much. But I'll look for that info and get it to you.

The Corridor is commonly known as "The Tourist Corridor" because of all the resorts for tourists. Stuff to do is really found in either San Jose or Cabo San Lucas. Both areas are very close to the Corridor (Corridor is between both areas.) And a cab or shuttle ride in either direction is roughly 15 minutes.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
