2nd wedding/marriage?

Recommended Posts

sascolo  -  the resort we are getting married at does not allow personalized vows but after the minister does reads the standard vows you can add your own.

But we are not going to.  I did find a really nice sand ceremony script about the sand and water etc. I emailed the stateside coordinator and she said they have a standard script for that as well and she sent it to me and its very standard. So I am going to ask the wedding coordinator at the resort if the minister could read the one I want and if not I might just have FFL to read it.

What are you all doing for your legal wedding? We are going to las Vegas in early Feb and the fiancé thinks we should just get married. I'm nervous though as it is three months before the wedding. I don't want anyone to find out as I think they will be mad and not want to go to Mexico for the wedding. Also sad cause that means my son won't be there.

When my sister got married, they incorporated their vows to include her son (who was 12), and he stood with them, and left with them.  It was really sweet, and, more importantly, a good idea to make your kids feel included and to know that they aren't forgotten.  I know when my mom got married to her now husband, she only told one of my sisters on the actual wedding day.  It was really hurtful, and didn't make it easy to accept her husband into our family.

sunstarsmoon - I absolutely LOVE Couples San Souci!  I am sure your wedding will be so beautiful!  Where are you getting married on the property?

This will be my first marriage but my FI's second. He has a 14 year old son and I'm thinking we'll incorporate him into our sand ceremony. We are planning a very small beach wedding so only close family will be there. We're inviting his ex-wife and new husband...should be interesting if they come! But we all get along well so hopefully no drama.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
