I am actually slightly considering changing my date from April to October. We can save almost $2,000 if we do that! We are currently living together and this is my second marriage, so waiting a few extra months is not big deal - BUT, my first wedding was in October and I don't know if that is bad karma???

We are gonna deposit on our room this Jan, so i gues we have til then to decide. I'm cool with what-ever at this point. Ugh. LOL.

What, but you are so close to April, how could you change it!
It may save you some money but then you will have to spend more money sending out new invites or save the dates, and whatever else you may have to change, so will it really save you that much money? I think you should stay with April.
Yes I do have a pic of my dress, here it is....

Hey Michelle-2!
Definitely make the best decision for you! I originally wanted to get married in October (it would've been last month if I would've stuck to that plan)..then I remembered that it was hurricane season..and since I live in Houston, I am AFRAID of the aftermath of hurricanes.
My advice would be to take everything into consideration and do what is best for you and your family.
One good thing if you wait until October- you'll have a ton of advice from all of us brides who will be married by then!!
