Beaches Turks and Caicos- Private Candlelight Dinner

Recommended Posts

Hello!  My fiance and I are thinking about doing the Private Candlelight dinner on our last night at the resort.  Did anyone have the private candlelight dinner while they were there?  If so, did you feel that it was worth the cost?  And can I book it when we arrive, or would it need to be booked far in advance?

Thanks!

Lauren

My husband's father paid for us to have a candlelight dinner on the beach our last night.  It was nice.  I don't know if I would've spend $170 on it but we had a private waiter that arrived at our room and escorted us to the beach.  You pick the meal you want before hand and they bring everything out to you.  There were about 8 or 9 tables set up on the beach about 50 yards apart so it was kind of cool looking down the beach at the other couples having dinner becaue all you could see was the torches flickering in the dark.

The website says a "Honeymoon dinner for bride and groom" is included in the BB package.

Lauren- I know you're getting married at 11am.  You could do lunch with your family and the "honeymood dinner for bride and groom" at night.  I'm not really sure how that works.  We just did dinner with our families after our 4 pm wedding.

I wonder what this means really since they want to charge extra for the "private dinner on the beach", and a regular dinner would just be considered part of the all inclusive???

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
