We are getting married on January 6th, 2011 and it was suggested to us to have our reception on the FURY Catamaran during sunset. Does anyone out there have any experience having their wedding reception on the FURY Catamaran? I've seen a few pictures of the food setup, but none of them have been weddings. Any feedback would be helpful! We need to make a decision ASAP.

I just got married in Key West this past August and the day before our ceremony all of our guests went on the Fury rum & reggae sunset cruise. I personally would not recommend this as a reception site because if you plan on having drinks your guests will have to be EXTRA careful when going to the bathroom. There is a ladder that you have to climb down backwards to get to it and if you are over 5'6" you basically have to bend backwards to maneuver around.  Now the cruise, staff and drinks were fantastic....but for a reception site, not so much.

I agree! I also got married in Key West this past August and we went on a sunset cruise the night before the wedding with all our guests. The cruise itself was nice and relaxing, but the drinks weren't great and the bathroom situation was a little..um...uncomfortable. I wouldn't suggest it.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
