After borrowing many of your ideas on this forum, I thought I could make my own invites.  I attempted and got too frustrated.  I created a monogram which my friend worked off of for the invites.   She was very patient with me and did a fabulous job!

Supplies:

Almond cardstock from Micahels - on sale $0.29 each

Brown #10 envelopes from Staples - $3.99 each

Gold pen from Staples - on sale for $2.00

Perforator from Michaels - $2.99

The following I borrowed from friends or people at work:

White cardstock

Corner round

double sided take

blades and exacto knives

metal rulers

Myself and 5 friends made 90 invites in less than 3 hours.  One person cut all of the tickets.  At first two pple were cutting but they weren't cutting exactly the same and the size of ticket one was slightly off of ticket two.

Person 1- cut out tickets with a blade on thick backing board.  don't repeat the cut in the same area for too long on the board b/c it will cause you to be off.

Person 2- scored all cardstock for the jacket

Person 3 - taped the card stock

Person 4- Perforated

Person 5- punched round corners

Person 6 - cut small part out around the curved on the tickets

I choose to hand write the address and return on all the invites and they looked very nice.  Oh and it was one stamp!!

I bought natural colored hemp thread to tie around the jacket but all of my friends voted against it.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
