"Primal" Brides!

Hey Ladies!

I could've sworn there'd be a Primal thread in here but I guess not, so I'll start it!

Has anyone heard of the Primal Blueprint??

It falls within the same lines of gluten-free,low carb, paleo diets. I'm not that good at explaining this diet but I recommend anyone who is trying to lose weight or tone up/build muscle visit this website http://www.marksdailyapple.com/

Basically, its eating the way our great ancestors ate, caveman style ladies! Meat, veggies, fruit, nuts....NO GRAIN! Accompanied by primal workouts, outside & barefoot!

Its so fun and you get results! I feel like its more of a lifestyle change rather than a "diet".

I've been doing it for 2 weeks so far and I feel great! More energized, no cravings, and lean and less boated feeling!I'm having so much fun with this! My friend lost 20 pds off this in about a month, she needed to lose weight, where as I have only lost a few pounds (im already skinny) but have leaned up! My focus is not to lose weight, therefor Im not eating fewer calories than I had before this diet.

Eating protien and good fats( avocado, eggs, nuts ect) your body startes burning fat, instead of carbs, therefore losing weight and gaining muscle! I thought this would be a perfect lifestyle change for us Destination brides out there to look amazing in your wedding dress as well as in your bikini!

So check out the website, for further information, and lets get this thread rolling! The book is awesome and I have to cookbook, which my non-primal fiance has been cooking out of more than I have!

I'm curious to see if theres already other brides doing this as well!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
