I'm down with whatever Calia...I'm just thinking that a month will give people lots of time for getting married in that month maybe, or any other personal things that might come up. And for the speed readers...well, we could just wait until closer to the discussion time to read it! A month is typical for a Book Club isn't it??

And if everyone happens to have the book finished early then we can discuss it early...play it by ear maybe??

I finished Room in 3 days...very quick read! Can't wait to see what the next book is...in the mean time I just started The Help today.

I almost suggested The Help for next month!  i think I am going to go ahead and read it.

I would be up for this this!

I agree... some people may have vacations or weddings coming up, so this would still allow everyone to participate!

I'm outta here on the 16th for my Wedding, so I won't be reading while we're away.  So keeping it the month I personally think it's a good idea. However if we find people finishing up the books, just go ahead and pick the next.

I finally got my books today.  So I'll start Sarah's Key tonight sometime

I agree! Even thought it only takes a few days to read a book some people have other things to juggle as well. I just got back from Mexico last night and have a wedding this weekend. I think one month would be easier for the group as a whole! Maybe those who are reading The Help could discuss in the meantime! I loved that book! Chocolate Pie anyone??

The book we are reading currently is Room by Emma Donoghue and next month book is Sarah's Key by Tatiana De Rosnay. You shouldn't of got a PM. We post on here the book. I only PM if you didn't submit a book, but you did so you're all good.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
