I am getting married at the Casa Dorada on November 6th.  I have already signed the contract, and all deposits have been made.  I just wanted to know if anyone ran into the issue of bringing in an outside photographer?  I hired Dino Gomez a few months back, per Sarai's suggestion, and now the Casa Dorada is telling me I have to use their photographer or pay $200.  Its not much, but I feel like if its not in the contract why are they telling me this now and not two months ago when I was on property meeting with the vendors.  We are aware of the restaurant 50 people limit, and we relented and decided to pay for 50 people even if only 30 attend.  I feel like our visit in July was the right time to bring up the photographer issue, but nothing was said.  Has anyone else run into this issue?

Dino? Many of the brides considering (or already booked) Dorada would love to know the answer to this one.

mmm.... check the contract you just signed with them, if there is no clause regarding outside vendors you can argue, in the other side $200USD may be for the day pass non guest fee, this is not really expensive and if you want to avoid further headache with this resort, just pay it.

      Best regards!
