Moon Dance Cost

Recommended Posts

sorry Larajo for the delayed response, but since daughter is now a married woman, seldom do I visit the site (then I get this great hunger to check up on you all!)

If you have made a visit to Moon Dance, I'm positive that your questions and qualms have been resolved. If not, let me try to help. First, Oneika is wonderful, but she really does not get ACTIVELY involve until closer to the wedding. I would send her emails of things I was interested in and about 2 weeks later she would respond, but about 6-8 weeks before the wedding she was on it, with details and suggestions.

We went with her suggestions for the baker, DJ and fire dancer. Trust me, she took care of all the details of making sure that the people were where they needed to be on the day of the wedding. Oneika even handled some things that I tried to take care of from the States (and became jumbled up on arrival - like the persons I ordered coffee and rum from for the OTT bags not showing up- Oneika called them to try to get them to deliver, but in the end, she went and purchased the items for the bags)

This was my first wedding where I had to handle a lot of the details, which Oneika took over for me. We actually had a no stress wedding day! If you have any additional questions that you think I can answer, please feel free to email me. Oh, regarding the florist, she did a wonderful job, but in hindsight, I wish I would have been more detailed on the centerpieces, meaning sending her pictures of what we wanted instead of following her suggestions. They were nice, but standard, not really special.

  • 2 weeks later...

Thanks for the response. Better late than never cheesy.gif  We met with the DJ (Sound Illusion), Margaret Myrie and Rosemarie of Floral Fantasy when we were in Jamaica in January. I'm sure things will work out at the actual wedding, but I'm just a little frustrated because I really don't want to be doing things 6-8 weeks before the wedding that I can be doing now, 3 months in advance. Having been a wedding planner here in NY I would NEVER think to get back to someone after 2+ weeks. I just think it's poor practice.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
