Has anyone had their hair done at the spa in the resort? Just wondering what the reviews are like.

          Hi girls,

my fiance and i were married at the Gran Bahia in April 2010 and from my experiences i would just get one of your bridesmaids to do your hair. Dont get me wrong, the spa staff are amazing and i had the most wonderful massage there, but my hair did absolutley nothing in the heat and humidity. I was hoping to wear it down and curly so i booked my appointment at the spa (costs about $90usd). They curled it and put my extensions in for me, but by the time i walked from the spa to the room, it was flat. So i put it up in a bun and stuck a lily in it...it was really pretty. I'm glad that i ended up wearing it up because it was so hot (+33) that i would have died with it drapped over my neck and back!!!

If your hair is fine in the humidity then it might be worth it, but i find that a simple look is best for a caribbean wedding! Much more natural looking...

          Just my thoughts...

          Good luck!
