Look for threads by and with MD2002...I think he was able to find some new vendors that others had not previously mentioned and used. Also...there is an older thread on the Atlantis and Wedding Planners that I found very helpful to my planning here. I have a few vendors that I am trying out that are reasonably priced...but can't recommend them until I see how things go at my wedding this weekend. I will come back and post if they are any good. Good luck to you!!

To the OP..the salon at the Atlantis did both my make-up and hair as well as that of others whom attended...we were very happy with the services.

I am a newbie and am in the initial phases of planning (like, embryo stages) - I was wondering how you went about even finding a place in Nassau? I would love to get married there, have dreamed about some day being able to return ever since I vacationed there when I was kid. I am a bit overwhelmed by how to navigate and get information to locations in Nassau. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated!

The easiest way to start is to figure out where you want to get married. In the gardens, on a beach, indoors, over looking the harbor. After that the only real advise I can give you is to search these forums. It helped me allot... once I searched around here I went to the internet.
I am in the minority and did not use a wedding coordinator and did all my research on-line and made some calls and took peoples advise on who to use. I pretty much did it all for my wedding by taking peoples recommendations and using my judgement. You do need to shop around for prices. They vary by ALLOT!
Your going to put your trust in people you have never met or spoken to in person and just have to trust that everything works out. I think you will find more times than not from people on this site that everything works out in the end. It's what all these vendors do, there life is weddings. I have a review on here somewhere with all my vendors and my experience with them. You can start there
