    This may be silly,

However, when signing the marriage cert in mexico do you do the thumb prints...

I have seen a few pics form peoples weddings with them doing this and think it's pretty neat!

But not seen anything on it yet?

Anyone know anything? or these already married in mexico, did you have to do the thumb prints?

Just kinda popped into my head there

If you are doing a legal ceremony in Mexico then you need to do thumb prints on the marriage certificate. You also have to sign three times and each of your (4) witnesses need to sign three times.

Definitely not a silly question... I was wondering the same thing :)

I'm glad we get to do the thumb print!

I loved doing the thumb print! It really made it feel official!
But, word to the wise, have your husband pack a little hankie or something in his pocket to wipe your thumb off! I accidently got some on my dress and black against a white dress... it was noticible!
