You're review was very helpful! Thanks so much..we are looking to get married in May 2011 - I was wondering how the weather was during the week(s) you were there?

 

How private was the ceremony and dinner? We're thinking of doing some kind of private beach dinner or something like that for our guests...but we're not sure what the privacy is like at the resort. Not sure what options are really available to us...we're meeting with a TA this weekend.

The weather was good.  The rain in Turks and Caicos only last a couple minutes.  They said they rarely ever have a full day of rain.  It was a little humid but we're from central PA so it was normal for us.

 

The ceremony and dinner were very private.  We picked the 4 pm wedding time so the beach was pretty bare.  I think that had a little bit to do with the rain that day.  The hostess at Barefoot by the Sea put us off to the side and it was wonderful.  I had one little girl come up and wish us a happy life together which I thought was super sweet.  Other than that, we were left alone. 

 

As far as a private reception goes, I would say it depends on your budget and how much you value your privacy.  If you are willing to pay, they will make it very private for you.

I am researching into getting married at Beaches Turks & Caicos also. I know a couple yrs have passed since your wedding but I had a couple of questions for you if you're willing to share. Regarding the reception~how much did they charge you for the additional people that joined you. I am interested in the same theme as you and I know 2 guests are already included and I noticed that you had your dinner after that is that correct (and is there any apps at reception also). Im not clear on how that part works. I only noticed cake to be served. Also was the music and/or dj included during reception? I am just trying to figure out how many additional costs there were. My faince and I are trying to keep this as affordable for us as possible (we are paying for this ourselves). Thanks for all of your reccomendations especially about the room. A suite would most likely what we would need. You have been a great help!!

Do you have any further details about the Beautiful Beginings theme? That package I believe is for free if you stay 6 nights or longer. I believe it includes a 30 min reception but what excatly goes on within that time period? i will most likely be having the dinner at one one the restaurants to save some money. Also, what's the deal with the music (for both ceremony and reception) is that automatically included? I'm just trying to figure out what is extra as for we are trying to keep it as affordable as possible.

Oh, does anyone know the cheapest month(s) to go?

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners.
