30 pounds since December is really awesome!

Looks like I stayed the same this week. Not too surprised since I had to go out more than usual this week due to being out of town at a conference. I'm just glad I didn't gain.

thanks!!!

No meal plan... I told myself that this isn't something that I am "just doing now".... it has to be my new way of life. I'm just trying to eat cleaner... less food from boxes & cans.... hopefully those 30 lbs stay away for good!!!

Heather and Natasha - I hope you ladies are hanging in there. I'm sorry life has been being crappy to you.

Jenny - awesome! Isn't a great achievement to see your weight in the "not overweight" BMI category? And good for you for trying to make sustainable changes to your life. It's much better physically and psychologically than yo-yo dieting (although, I do have to say that following a strict diet temporarily does help jump start weight loss, and some people need to see that scale move quickly in order to get motivated to run the distance).

As for me, I'm just thankful that my scale moved in the right direction this week! I have been working super long hours all week and traffic has been so bad that I think I spent an extra 20 hours working and an extra 10 hours (in addition to the normal 10) on the road. I was also completely out of groceries at the beginning of the week, so I've been eating the dinners that work orders for us. I ended up eating some salad drenched in dressing (they serve it that way), veggies drenched in oil, pizza, chinese, chicken alfredo, and a meatball sub. Plus two cans of coke. I think my job is trying to kill me, because there honestly wasn't one option that was what I would consider healthy (except for a grilled chicken salad one night, but somebody stole the one I ordered). I really need to hit the store. That + Stress + Aunt Flo = YUCK!

On a positive note, my BD shoot is tomorrow... or later today, I guess. I don't know how I'm going to keep this a secret. I'm really bad at hiding things from FI.

Hey ladies. I am down this week. Only .8 lbs but I don't care its still down!!!

Well, you ladies all know who stressful weight can be. This morning FI decided to play a trick on me that was not funny at all! He was in the bathroom when I was doing my weigh in. I didn't realize he was standing right behind me. Well, when I stepped on the scale, he also put his foot on the back of the scale but I didn't notice. My weight was showing at like 25 lbs over what my weight is. I started panicking thinking there was something wrong with the scale but then FI starts laughing and I finally realized what happened. So mean and really kind of traumatizing.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
