I was thinking of getting her a parasol, what do you ladies think?  And if I get it Im not sure what color I should get, her dress is coral, so Im not sure if I want to get a white/ivory parasol or a turquoise parasol?

Oh and to answer questions....

Brandy, love the parasols...I think either color would go cute!  How are Princess cruises? Do you feel like there are way more older people than younger? Does Princess have much of a nightlife? I want to try a Princess and Royal Carribean but we love to go dancing in the club at night and Im afraid that those wont have much going on after dark.. Carnival is definitely a party ship :)

Teira I work over by Loyde Center for DHS Child Welfare :)

Kathy, yeah I would say its more towards the older crowd, but I would also say theres a little bit of every age on there, I have met so many great people on princess, some old some young, and they do have clubs on their ships, I havent been in one at night to tell you though, Im not much of a club person, I mean I love to dance but I just dont like clubs really, there is so much to do on the ships though, I have been wanting to go to one just to see how it is, I'll have to let you know when we get back from our honeymoon :)

Me and FI loooove the casino so we spend most of our nights on there, and they play movies under the stars which is nice too, and of course you eat late at night on them ships lol, I just love it, theres always something to do!!!

Apola,

I have slowly been acquiring songs since we got engaged but now it's close enough to make some decisions.

I have asked our WC for the ceremony script so I can finish off the programs and get them printed. I have most of the songs for the ceremony picked out, except our recession. I think you need guest procession, bridal party, bride, signing of documents and then recession. We are also doing sand ceremony before the recession and have to decide who will read it.

Here's our sand ceremony script:

Before the two of you met, your lives were on separate roads ... each going in different directions and seemingly leading to different destinations. But somewhere along the way (through some twist of fate) you did meet, and you fell in love. Today, you find yourselves standing here together at the threshold of a new path, and have promised to forever join your once separate journeys into one.

Bride and Groom may your love always be as constant as the never-ending waves, flowing endlessly from the depths of the sea. Just as there will never be a morning without the oceanâ€s flow, there will never be a day without your love for each other.

Before each of you there is a container of sand. Each container represents the separate journeys you once were on. They also represent your own sets of friends and families that until today were apart from each other. I now ask that you blend these individual containers of sand together.

Each container holds its own unique beauty, strength, and character. They can stand on their own and be whole, without need of anything else. However when these two are blended together they create an entirely new and extraordinarily more intricate entity. Each grain of sand brings to the mixture a lasting beauty that forever enriches the combination.

As the sand has blended together, your lives too are joined. Your once solitary journeys have become one of companionship, as you now set forth on a single path together into your future. Your friends and family are as one as well.

Kathy - does your Hawaiian cruise go all over Hawaii? Do you go across the pacific or do you start and end in Hawaii? We've always wanted to see Hawaii and we've never been on a cruise either - that would be so much fun!

Tris - that zebra-print bikini is hot! I wish I could wear something like that:)

Brandy - I love all those cover-ups you've found! I can't wait to buy a bunch of those - I'll probably have more cover-ups than bathing suits!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
