I don't know if it's too cheesy, but will the guests have time to use it down there, I would also be concerned with getting it down to the resort without disintegrating.  They do have a lot of cool stuff for Valentine's Day at Dollar Tree and .99 Cents store.  Definitely go to a store in person and check it out.

Brandy, great job on the OOT bags, sooo adorable.  Lame about the Koozies.  I'm still waiting on my mugs, but they were out of stock on my color and told me upfront they wouldn't be in until mid-February. Perhaps they're out of stock on your color and neglected to tell you?  They should definitely compensate by throwing in some extras for free.

Brandy - Your bags look awesome!!  As some of the others have said, I'm glad my guests aren't going to see your bags...

The only thing I'm really having a hard time figuring out is how I want to incorporate my welcome letter, english to spanish translation, and a couple of other things....  I don't necessarily think a book is necessary just because there isn't going to be a lot there....

Tenny I dont think they are cheesy, I would get them, just bc they dont use them at the resort, doesnt mean they wont use them once they get home, The only think I would worry about like francine says is how well will they travel.

As for the wine stoppers, I have seen them in the stores, but all the ones I like cost way too much, you seem to get a better deal online.

Francine, I know for a fact they have the colors I wanted he said it was no problem at all, in fact he was even nice enough to let me know that the fuschia I wanted was more on the purple side so I switched to pink.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
