Mocha-  Great BM's dress and color!  I think tangerine rocks!  Have you tried www.thetiebar.com for any ties?  They have a huge variety, and they're usually cheap too.

Tenny-  Ugh.  People suck sometimes.  If you really don't care to have her there, maybe you can gently say that you were hurt by her letter saying that your friendship wasn't the same anymore, but that you re-evaluated things and that you feel the same.  Not all friends are in your life for a lifetime.  It's like that saying that people are in your life for a reason, season, or lifetime.  Maybe her season has come and gone.....and it's okay for you to gently tell her you'd prefer she not come if that's how you feel.  I'd hate for you to feel tension on your wedding day she's there with her 3 friends.  Try to let this drama roll off of your back.

Wow Tenny - reading your post actually made me angry that someone could be that selfish!  And I just don't understand how someone in your life could be so heartless when you are mourning the loss of your mother...  I agree with the others - if you feel that she is not worth having in your life as a friend, then you should let her know that she hurt you, and you'd prefer to not have her at your wedding

Tenny - I am heartfully sorry that you have to deal with "friends" like that. I would go with telling her that since she informed you of her inability to attend you have made alternate arrangements. Maybe she has changed and realized how important it is to be at your wedding, but she shouldn't expect that you were just on stand by hoping that she would show up. Let her know that your wedding has limitations and you would love to have her attend but just can't accommodate any more people.

And thanks for the suggestion, but I'm not familiar with that store. Do they have a website?

Erin - My colors are actually tangerine and fuchsia, but I was worried about an orange tie with a black suit so hopefully I can find something with both tangerine and fuchsia.

No worries, still lots of time to find ties!

BTW - One of my BMs has confirmed that since she is preggers there's no way she can afford the trip. So, I am down to my Angelic MoH and maidzilla sister. Of course, my sister is so concerned about it being equal but I told her no worries, 2 GM with MoH and sister can have 1 GM and ring bearer. I don't want to ask someone else so late.

Mocha - That makes sense now.  I was thinking that I'd remember the orange and black and didn't know how I missed it, but totally missed what you were talking about apparently.  That one flew right over my head!

Today I came home to MORE packages!!  I got my luggage tags from the lady on Etsy, and my OOT bags that I bought from cheaptotes.com.  Now I just need to get a few more things for my OOT bags, the iron on paper for the design for the OOT bags, and my OOT bags will be ready for completion!

Mocha- I'm on the hunt for fuschia & orange ties also, let me know if you find anything and I'll do the same! Tenny- so sorry about your friend, I wouldn't definitely not want her at my wedding after the things she said to you! I hope you figure everything out. You deserve to have nothing but supportive people at your wedding!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
